As a language school in Munich<\/strong>, we have a clear mission: the integration of immigrants and positive communication between people and cultures. After all, language is the most important means of successful integration. And this integration must not go unnoticed in the current situation and due to the threat posed by the Covid-19 virus. That is why it is also our responsibility to ensure that the still low vaccination rate among people with a migration background is increased. And today we can report on the great success of our vaccination campaign<\/strong>! <\/p>

Vaccinations are an important part of integration<\/strong><\/p>

Language<\/strong> is the most important factor for the successful integration<\/strong> of immigrants, migrants and refugees in a foreign country and perhaps in a new, permanent home. That’s why we at Sprachschule M\u00fcnchen have been working intensively on this indispensable building block of integration with our eager-to-learn students for over 30 years. Because the spoken language connects cultures, makes everyday life easier and provides support both privately and, above all, professionally. Language opens the door to contact. We are now facing another new challenge<\/strong>: the coronavirus<\/strong>. The Covid-19 virus is very restrictive for all of us. Those who are not vaccinated will be restricted even further and only a full vaccination will allow safe contact with other people again. This is why vaccination<\/strong> is so important for immigrants<\/strong>, as they face two hurdles to integration: language and coronavirus. <\/p>

Deutschinstitut Integra launches vaccination campaign<\/strong><\/p>

The low vaccination rate among people with a migration background is also evidence of poor communication. Because with education<\/strong>, the understanding of the topic of corona is there and the willingness to be vaccinated<\/strong> is present. At the language school in Munich, we therefore see it as our responsibility to educate, communicate and mediate – in other words, to support people with what we do best: Language. For this reason, we launched the vaccination campaign for all immigrants<\/strong>, their family members and our employees aged 18 and over. On the premises of Deutschinstitut Integra, the language school in Munich, we organized the first vaccination day on 11 October 2021 in cooperation with Aicher Ambulanz Union. We communicated the date to our students and on the Internet under #HierWirdGeimpft and were thrilled by the great success of our first event. <\/p>

How did vaccination work at the Deutschschule M\u00fcnchen?<\/strong><\/p>

Together, we worked hard and were able to increase the willingness of immigrants<\/strong> from our school and their family members to be vaccinated<\/strong>. Of course, with the help of the Aicher Ambulanz Union, we ensured compliance with all safety regulations prescribed by the country. All those wishing to be vaccinated were free to choose the vaccine, which was provided by BioNTech\/Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna<\/strong>. Trained staff from the Aicher Ambulanz Union administered both primary<\/strong> and secondary vaccinations<\/strong> as well as some booster vaccinations, the tertiary vaccinations<\/strong>. <\/p>

Further vaccinations followed in November & December<\/strong><\/p>

As the language school’s vaccination campaign in Munich was so successful and enthusiastically received, we immediately scheduled a second event. This was attended by many immigrants who were unable to attend the first day of the campaign. Now they had the chance to receive their first, second or even third vaccination on November 2, 2021. We also offered the third booster vaccination<\/strong> against coronavirus on the third day of our vaccination campaign, on December 2, 2021. Because only fully vaccinated<\/strong> are we strong together. <\/p>

Conclusion: Success of the vaccination campaign across the board<\/strong><\/p>

We are delighted at how well the vaccination campaign at our language school in Munich was received by all immigrants. After all, the integration of all people is important to us. With the vaccination and, above all, the prior communicative education, an important barrier has been overcome. The coronavirus vaccination also means that the language barrier can be overcome more quickly, because only contact enables communication<\/strong>. We at the Deutschinstitut Integra in Munich<\/strong> are working hard and together to ensure this.
